27th Annual State Demography Meeting
The last year and a half has brought significant socio-economic change to the U.S. and Colorado. We invite you to listen to and participate in presentations on the economy and
our demographic forecasts and estimates. We will also have updates from around the state on how different regions are managing in these challenging times.
We are also in the home stretch for Census 2010! April 1 is only 6 months away, and Complete Count activities are in full swing. The Census Bureau will update us on efforts
in Colorado and what we can all do to achieve an accurate count.
The State Demography Office holds the annual meeting to review its basic assumptions and methods so that its demographic and economic estimates and forecasts are as accurate and transparent as possible. This year we are partnering with the Colorado State University Extension, and we hope you will join us at this information sharing event.
