• Check in when arriving at the assigned location.
• Acclimate to the working and living conditions at the Joint Field Office.
• Take care of themselves during deployment.
• Maintain standards for accountability.
• Complete the check-out process.

Primary Audience:This course is designed for FEMA response partners, including personnel from other Federal agencies, nongovernmental organizations, and private-sector companies. North Central Region Critical Infrastructure Protection Conference

The second annual Critical Infrastructure Protection Conference will be held on October 28, 2008 at the Qwest Learning and Conference Center, 3898 So. Teller, Lakewood CO. This is an excellent opportunity for the emergency management and response sector to work with critical infrastructure owners and operators most of which are in the private sector. This year’s conference will consider the effects a moderate to strong earthquake will have on regional critical infrastructure, the emergency response, and recovery from this disaster. The conference will be valuable for senior / executive and operator level individuals. Although this conference will be centered on the North Central Region, the conference is open for State-wide participation.

Please pass along this information to emergency management and response agencies and to both public and private critical infrastructure representatives.
