Situation: CDOT snowplows worked throughout the night keeping major transportation arteries opened. Morning driving conditions should be very slick and soggy. Current road closures: (1) CO 14 between Ault - Sterling/CO 71 between CO 14 - Nebraska and (2) east bound and west bound I-80, Cheyenne-Nebraska. Twenty-one school closures have been reported. Some businesses have delayed reporting.
Weather Report: Second storm front moved through metro area approximately 11:45pm (March 19). Temperatures are expected to be in the upper teens / lower twenties on the 20 th.
Winter storm warning remains in effect until 11 pm MST /midnight CST/ this evening for Cheyenne, Kit Carson and Yuma counties
Winter storm warning remains in effect until 11 am MST Monday for Alamosa, Costilla, Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Las Animas, Pueblo, Saguache and Teller counties
Winter storm warning remains in effect until 11 am MST Monday for Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson, Larimer, Lincoln, Logan, Morgan, Park, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington and Weld counties
