Situation: Jolley Mesa, Garfield County, Size of the fire is estimated at 581 acres was reported 100% contained as of 1730 on June 25 th, at an estimated total cost of $485,000. 2 private residents and 7 commercial structures were reported threatened with none destroyed. A total of 294 personnel are engaged in fighting the fire with support of dozers and helicopters.
Remarks: Although not normally involved in fire suppression activities, Encana Oil and Gas provided support in the form of water tenders replenishment of engages engines, dust abatement and a helicopter dip pond.
Observed Fire Behavior: Minimal fire activity; limited to smoldering stump holes and areas of heavy fuels.
